Following this, the orchestra will dive into the works of Sergei Rachmaninoff starting with the first movement of “Symphonic Dances,” a piece known for its rhythmic vitality and lush harmonies. The concert will also feature “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini,” showcasing the virtuosic talents of our guest pianist, Diana Gao. The evening will culminate with the deeply expressive and beloved “Piano Concerto No. 2”, another work by Rachmoninoff that has captivated audiences for generations, featuring our pianist, Jada Campbell. Theater Festivals have a rich tradition of providing creators and audiences with the chance to experience the theater in unique settings. The Inaugural Bellevue International Theatre Festival (BITFest) at the Meydenbauer Center Theater, April 4-6 2025 will feature seven theaters from 4 states, plays of different genres in 4 languages, including shows for kids and adults. BITFest will be a feast for the eyes, ears and soul for any theater enthusiast!
Theatre33 is thrilled to welcome colleagues to showcase their works in the center of Bellevue. The weekend will be filled with performances of different genres in different languages, artistic craftsmanship, engaging discussions, informative workshops and meaningful connections across cultures and theatrical traditions. The main objective of BITFest is to offer the community an immersive experience into the vibrant and diverse world of directors, actors and technical professionals, providing a glimpse into the craft of dramatic arts from multiple perspectives.
