A gift for true connoisseurs of theater and beautiful love stories, starring the brilliant Elena Zakharova and the magnificent Andrey Chadov in the leading roles!

The play “Two for the Seesaw” is based on the world-renowned play by William Gibson. Two for the Seesaw is a touching and sad love story about two lonely people who grasp onto a chance encounter like a drowning person clutching at a straw. They are so different from each other that one can’t help but wonder: can these two stay together despite the complicated past experiences they’ve had in relationships?

Gittel is a dancer who suffers from an ulcer and has virtually no money. Jerry is a young, ambitious lawyer, struggling with the emotional pain of a recent divorce. One accidental meeting turns into a date… And so begins the action of one of the most beloved plays by audiences and directors around the world. In 1962, the play was adapted into a film. The film, starring Robert Mitchum and Shirley MacLaine, was nominated for an Oscar.

Elena Zakharova, beloved by audiences for her roles in films and TV series such as “Simple Truths,” “Who’s the Boss?” “And Yet I Love You,” “Cadets,” “Yolki” and Andrey Chadov, known for his leading roles in “Alive,” “Quiet Outpost,” “We Won’t Say Goodbye,” bring their own interpretation of this famous love story.

On February 19, Seattle audiences will have the opportunity to see this wonderful production of “Two for the Seesaw” and enjoy the performance of their favorite actors!
