The Show Must Go wrONg
Apr 17 - 18, 2026
Performing Arts Theatre
| SHOW MUST GO wrONg follows the well-intentioned but hopelessly chaotic Live2Act troupe as they attempt to stage an ambitious Bollywood-style whodunnit set during the lavish engagement celebration at the Moti Mansion. The plan is simple: a glamorous engagement party, a shocking murder, a clever detective, and TEN SPECTACULAR DANCE NUMBERS. Unfortunately… almost nothing goes according to plan. As the evening unfolds, missed cues, collapsing sets, misplaced props, and wildly committed actors send the production spiraling delightfully out of control. The performers struggle to keep the story alive while everything around them — and sometimes them themselves — goes spectacularly wrong. Presented by Live2Dance’s newest theatre wing, Live2Act, this production marks their bold debut staging of Bhavik Deshpande’s classic whodunnit, Murder at the Moti Mansion. Follow a troupe of passionate performers who wanted to pursue theatre but their parents ensured they become engineers or doctors, the result is equal parts murder mystery, Bollywood spectacle, and theatrical disaster. The question isn’t who committed the murder. It’s whether the troupe can keep the show from falling apart before the mystery is solved. |
